Dear beautiful mothers,
I wanted to offer a range of gatherings this month and next, roughly organised around the coming new moons, full moons and the Summer Solstice.
The summer holidays are fast approaching, which for me means that time to stop, to reflect and to do my own thing feels especially precious. I hope you’ll join for some or all of our offerings, and in any case take that time also.
I’ve listed below what’s on offer with a link for each one to book a place.
Words of Apprecation Discussion Call
Tuesday 18th June, 1pm-2pm
(Via Zoom)
After my Substack about my own longing for appreciation, many people wrote to say that they had felt similar things, and often. I’ll lead this discussion around what I wrote, and we will practice writing genuine self appreciation. The call is a collaboration with MotherWild, an international community of mothers which I highly recommend joining.
You’re welcome to talk, or simply listen. The call is free. Message me for dial in details.

Thursday 20th June, 930am-1130am
Meet at Velasquez and Van Wesel Cafe on Park Road, map
We will walk up through a pretty woodland path to Queens Wood and from there to the Parkland Walk
Free of charge. Message me if you’re joining

For the Autumn, we have in the pipeline dance classes with my brilliant osteopath and dance teacher Iona Bernard. She teaches a form of dance called the Margaret Morris Movement, a fabulous dance method developed in the 1950s. Check it out!
Who we are
Lucy Kohli is a certified Kundalini yoga teacher and Reiki healer. In 2012, Lucy left a competitive academic and corporate path which wasn’t, as it turned out, suiting her at all. She has since championed a slower pace, with space for nature, and in particular her own nature. Now a mother, she experiences daily the multiple expectations on parents, and advocates gentle, easier and infinitely more kind and supportive approaches to life, family and motherhood.
Bex Kelly is a 4 times qualified yoga teacher with backgrounds in multiple disciplines (Iyengar, Yoga Therapy, Yoga for Cancer, Pre and Post Natal Yoga) she blends them all with a main focus on exploring intuition, and self-healing.
She is also a qualified Martha Beck Wayfinder life coach and enjoys combining cognitive tools with yoga and awareness in the body.
She loves to run retreats, travel, live in the tropics, learn every language possible and wants to remind the whole world that No Mother Is A Stranger.
Mother Wild is a global community of kick-ass mothers who do cool shit (as well as keep little humans alive.) Mother Wild aspires to raise happy and healthy mamas, one mother at a time. The Mother Wild mission is to reimagine the boundaries of modern motherhood; To truly nurture + empower mothers and to help each mother find her sense of inner peace, her global mama village, and to actualize her potential. Carmela Fleury founded Mother Wild on the principle that “Small humans can only have a better chance of growing up happy and healthy when a mother is truly embodying it for them.” For more info see https://motherwild.com/about.
